On November 21, Vice Admiral Anil Chopra, Distinguished Fellow, International Security and Maritime Studies, Gateway House, and Sameer Patil, Fellow, National Security, Ethnic Conflict and Terrorism Studies, Gateway House, attended a roundtable discussion hosted by Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) in Rome.
Vice Admiral Chopra and Sameer were part of panels that discussed the process and findings of the ongoing paper being co-authored with IAI, titled ‘Moving forward the EU-India Security Dialogue: Traditional and emerging issues’. The four-part paper on India-EU security is part of the year-long European Union-India Think Tank Twinning Initiative for 2016, and will be presented in Brussels in December of this year.
