After visiting Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Pakistan, U.S. Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson will be in New Delhi from 24-26 October. He will be meeting with Prime Minister Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
They are expected to discuss China, Pakistan, the peace process in Afghanistan, Ira as well as bilateral issues like Indo-U.S. trade and U.S. curbs on the H-1B visas. Tillerson will also be providing a briefing on the results of the Quadrilateral Coordination Group (U.S.-China-Afghanistan-Pakistan) meeting in Oman on 16 October on talks with Taliban.
