Senior officials from all SAARC member states will meet in Kathmandu from February 1 to 2 to discuss matters of regional importance including the budget for the SAARC secretariat, cross-border terrorism, and ways to end the stalemate over the 19th summit that was due to be held in November 2016, but was postponed amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan.
