From 31 October-1 November, the Foreign Minister of Singapore, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan will be visiting India. He met his counterpart, Sushma Swaraj, and participated in bilateral talks under the framework of Joint Ministerial Committee. The External Affairs Minister of India also hosted a lunch in honour of the visiting dignitary and his delegation.
The meeting saw discussion on the upcoming high-level exchanges, and the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN.
The Singapore Foreign Minister would visit Guwahati, Assam where he is to meet Chief Minister Shri Sonawal launch a Skill Development Centre being set up with Singapore’s assistance.
