On December 12 and 13, Indonesian President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo was in New Delhi on an official state visit. Although the top priority for the visit was to discuss trade and export diversification and to attract greater Indian investment, security and defence cooperation (especially maritime security) also featured high on the agenda.
This is the President’s first visit to India since he came to power in 2014.
