Maj Gen (Retd) VK Datta is one of the most decorated and experienced officers of the Indian Army.
He is now a Senior advisor on Counter Terrorist Operations with the National Police Academy Hyderabad, where he conducts tactical courses for IPS officers from all over the country. He is also a senior specialist on disaster management with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and is a member of the Board of experts on Security and Terrorism with the India Today Group.
