Events keep Mahatma’s spirit alive

Sabarmati Ashram was Mahatma Gandhi’s home from 1917 till 1930, when he set out on the Dandi March. The Ashram observes his death anniversary, on January 30, every year as “Nirvana Divas”. The day is marked by a prayer meeting followed by a talk. Rajni Bakshi, Senior Gandhi Peace Fellow at Gateway House, was honoured to be chosen to speak on the occasion this year
