Working Session 2:

Trade, investment and development

Investment flows offer new possibilities for achieving developmental targets.  The session will examine policy measures (i.e. technology transfer and trade-related investment measures) to facilitate sectoral development in emerging markets through value-added in manufacturing processes. How will mega-trade agreements such as TPP, TTIP and RCEP, impact investment flows?
