India-Pakistan Foreign Secretary Talks

Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao will meet her Pakistani counterpart Salman Bashir on June 23-25 to discuss bilateral relations between the two nations and move towards resolving the long-standing disputes regarding Kashmir and the Mumbai 26/11 terrorist attacks. Apart from discussing security measures, the Indo-Pakistan talks will also focus on confidence-building measures such as transportation and trade between the two nations.

The talks taking place in Islamabad, Pakistan will set the stage for the upcoming meeting of foreign ministers in New Delhi, India.
