Control Risk and Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations hosted a wine reception and an evening seminar at Taj Mahal Palace to launch the Gateway House Global Stability Map 2012. This map was presented alongside the Political Risk Map 2012 prepared by Control Risks, a global risk consultancy specialising in political, security and integrity risk.
The maps view the world from a different lens – the Gateway Stability Map as viewed from Mumbai, provides an emerging nation’s perspective of stability, and the Control Risk map gives a forecast and assessment of risks business is likely to face in the year ahead.
The event was followed by a panel discussion entitled ‘Beyond BRICS’ with Ramesh Venkat, CEO of Reliance Private Equity, Dane Chamorro, Director, Control Risks and Corene Crossin, Associate Director, Control Risks. The discussion was moderated by Gateway House’s Director Ambassador Neelam Deo.
