G20 Country Series: U.S. Briefing

In the recently concluded 4th Indo-U.S. Strategic Dialogue, both countries reaffirmed their shared vision for peace and stability in Asia and in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. They also expressed commitment to continue consultations on regional and international issues including Afghanistan.

On June 26, Gateway House hosted David McKean, Director of Policy Planning, U.S. Department of State, in conversation with Manjeet Kripalani, Co-founder and Executive Director, Gateway House, to discuss the way forward for U.S.-India economic and strategic relations; India’s relations with its neighbours and how this impacts decision-making and India’s economic and political influence in the Asia-Pacific region. This is the third of the G20 Country Series meetings hosted by Gateway House.
