Role of Indian business in the future of Indo-Myanmar relations

On March 19, Gateway House hosted U Myint Than, Mandalay Region Minister for Agriculture & Livestock Breeding; Dr. Myint Kyu, Mandalay Region Minister for Industry & Electricity; and U Than Htike, Sagaing Region Minister for Forest, Mining and Energy, from the Government of the Mandalay Region, Myanmar, to discuss the future of India-Myanmar trade relations. Also present was a business delegation affiliated to the Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The discussion focussed on the current state-of-affairs of the New Delhi-Naypyidaw trade relationship, and on how Indian businesses can contribute to expanding bilateral engagements between the two sides for mutual benefit.
