On June 14, Gateway House and Avid Learning are hosting an event titled “Revitalising Mumbai’s Historic Precincts: are foreign brands the catalyst?” on the restoration of historic spaces in Mumbai by multinational luxury brands, such as Hermès, Louboutin, Starbucks, and Zara.
The panel includes Abha Narain Lambah, well known conservation architect, Anita Garware, chairperson of the Indian Heritage Society, and Neisha Fernandes, country manager for Hermès. It will be moderated by Sifra Lentin, Mumbai History Fellow, Gateway House.
