US Elections: Indian-Americans victorious, setback for Obama

The Republicans have swept the recently held mid-term elections in the US gaining majority in both the Congress and the Senate. Also now there are 31 Republican Governors while the Democrats have only 15. However Indian- Americans have done well in this election. Governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley has been re-elected. To know more about theseresults we spoke to former Indian Ambassador Neelam Deo who was also the Consul General in New York.
