Sameer Patil, a security analyst at Gateway House, a Mumbai-based think tank, told Anadolu Agency that the talks would now likely be postponed.
“India will probably wait to see what action Pakistan takes on Jaish-e-Mohammed before proceeding any further on the dialogue front,” he said.
Last week’s attack, he added, had “hurt the chances that dialogue will be held next week on the foreign secretary level”.
