As part of an Indian think tank delegation to China, representatives from Gateway House and Observer Research Foundation visited the Consulate General of India in Guangzhou on 13 December 2016, where they met with Consul General Sailas Thangal.
During the visit, Consul General Thangal spoke about Indians in Guangzhou and his efforts to further India-China people to people exchange.
Gateway House members present included Vice Admiral Anil Chopra, Distinguished Fellow, International Security and Maritime Studies, Zahra Latif, Head of Operations, Sifra Lentin, Adjunct Fellow, Bombay History Studies, Aditya Phatak, Senior Researcher, Purvaja Modak, Researcher, and Virpratap Vikram Singh, Website Content Manager.
