As part of an Indian think tank delegation to China, representatives from Gateway House and Observer Research Foundation visited Chongmin Island, near Shanghai on 16 December, 2016.
During the visit, the delegation learned about the development of the island from a wasteland to a tourist destination and financial hub.
Gateway House members included Vice Admiral Anil Chopra, Distinguished Fellow, International Security and Maritime Studies, Zahra Latif, Head of Operations, Sifra Lentin, Adjunct Fellow, Bombay History Studies, Aditya Phatak, Senior Researcher, Purvaja Modak, Researcher, and Virpratap Vikram Singh, Website Content Manager.
