On March 5, Indian Vice President, Venkaiah Naidu, embarked on a two nation trip to Paraguay and Costa Rica. He is the highest-level representative of India to visit the two countries. He addressed the India-Paraguay business forum in Paraguay. He also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between India and Costa Rica on the waiving of Visa requirement for Diplomatic and Official Passport holders and the signing of a letter of intent to collaborate in the field of biotechnology.
