On August 6, Gateway House hosted the fifteenth episode of its Weekly Webcast titled, The importance of being Taiwan. The discussion was centered around Taiwan’s emerging global role, its changing bilateral relationships, and the potential for India-Taiwan ties.
The webcast was moderated by Sameer Patil, Fellow, International Security Studies Programme, Gateway House. The speakers were: Dr. I-Chung Lai, President, Prospect Foundation and Prof. M.D. Nalapat, Editorial Director, The Sunday Guardian and Vice-Chair of the Manipal Advanced Research Group.
