From 22-23 October, Sushma Swaraj, Minister of External Affairs of India, will pay an official visit to Dhaka.
In Dhaka, Sushma Swaraj will meet the Bangladeshi leadership and also interact with the representatives of leading Bangladeshi think tanks, chambers of commerce and industry and cultural organisations. The Minister of External Affairs will co-chair the 4th meeting of the India-Bangladesh Joint Consultative Commission with her counterpart.
This is the second visit by Sushma Swaraj to Bangladesh and comes shortly after the State visit of Bangladeshi Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, to India in April 2017.
