The Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in India on February 19, 2019 along with a large delegation of ministers and senior officials. He met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas. India and Saudi Arabia signed five agreements in the areas of investment, tourism, housing and information and broadcasting. The leaders also finalised the establishment of the ‘Strategic Partnership Council’ between the two countries.
