PM Modi is going for a state visit to UAE and Bahrain from August 23 to August 25. The Prime Minister will meet the crown prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the 23rd. Other than discussion on bilateral, regional and international matters of mutual interest, Prime Minister Modi received the Order of Zayed, the highest civil decoration of the UAE which was conferred earlier in April 2019 in recognition of the distinguished leadership of Prime Minister Modi for giving a big boost to bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Prime Minister visited Bahrain on a state visit on the 24th. This would be the first Prime Ministerial visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the visit, Prime Minister held talks with His Royal Highness Prince Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of Bahrain on bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.
