Prime Minister of Bhutan, Dr. Lotay Tshering visited India from December 27-29, 2018 along with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Economic Affairs of Bhutan. He met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the Doklam standoff, as well as the President, Vice President and Minister of External Affairs. This visit marked the Golden Jubilee year of the establishment of formal diplomatic relations between India and Bhutan.
