President of India visits Myanmar

President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, is on a State Visit to Myanmar from December 10-14, 2018. He will visit Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon, and will interact with his host, President U Win Myint and State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. He will be handing over the first 50 pre-fabricated housing units (out of a total of 250) for Rohingya refugees in Rakhine state. He will also discuss the completion of the India-Myanmar-Thailand trilateral highway as well as boosting agricultural ties, interact with the surviving veterans of the Indian National Army (INA), and inaugurate the ‘Enterprise India’ exhibitions in which 45 Indian companies are expected to participate.
