On September 16, President Ram Kovind visited Slovenia. This was the first ever state visit from India. The President held talks with the Slovenian President Pahor and thanked the Slovenian President for releasing a commemorative stamp on the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The President also addressed a Slovenian-India Business forum. President . Seven MoU’s were signed between both the countries in the fields of Investment, Sports, Science and Technology, River rejuvenation etc.
The President invited the Slovenian President to visit India and also invited him to join the International Solar Alliance.
