Prime Minister of Portugal, Antonio Costa, met with Prime Minister Modi at Hyderabad House in New Delhi. The PM of Portugal was on a two-day visit to India on an invitation extended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the second meeting of the Organizing Committee on the celebrations for the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Antonio Costa announced the setting up of Gandhi Citizenship Education Prize in Portugal in order to promote Gandhi’s ideals.
