Prime Minister Modi will visit Japan from November 11 to 13 to attend the annual Indo-Japan summit. While there, he will meet with Prime Minister Abe and call on Emperor Akihito. He is also expected to address members from the business community at the Indo-Japan Business Leaders Forum.
After the summit, a number of deals are expected to be signed between the two countries, including a civil nuclear cooperation pact. If signed, it will be Japan’s first civil nuclear cooperation pact with a nation that has not signed the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
