Pakistan's judicial panel visits India

The 26/11 judicial commission of Pakistan will be visiting India on March 14th. During this visit, the panel is expected to interview R.V.Sawant-Waghul, the magistrate who recorded the confession of Ajmal Kasab, Ramesh Mahale, the investigating officer of the case and two doctors who conducted the autopsies of the terrorists and victims.

The panel will consist of two prosecutors from the Federal Investigation Agency, five defence lawyers and officials from the Interior and Foreign Ministries. The Pakistani prosecutors have maintained that the commission’s visit to India would be instrumental in taking the trial of Nakhvi and six other suspects forward.
