Indian President Ram Nath Kovind was on a three nation visit to Iceland, Switzerland and Slovenia from 9-17 September 2019. The President was accompanied by a high-level delegation consisting of Debasree Chaudhury, Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Ramapati Ram Tripath Member of Parliament Lok Sabha and Basant Kumar Panda Member of Parliament Lok Sabha. The state visit was aimed at enhancing our political, economic, academic, scientific and technological linkages and gave focus to our bilateral ties. This is the first Presidential level visit from India to Slovenia.
