MoS External Affairs, V Muraleedharan attended the first ever EU Arctic Forum on 3rd October held in Umea, Sweden. The event was organized by the European commission and the government of Sweden. The event saw leaders from Finland, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Latvia, Malta and Denmark. The MoS spoke in the panel on the topic International Cooperation in the Arctic. The MoS talked about India’s scientific presence in the Arctic and the country’s efforts in tackling Climate Change.
