V Muraleedharan, Minister of State, Ministry of External Affairs visited Kuwait. He had meetings with HE Mrs. Mariam Al Aqeel, Minister of State for Economic Affairs of Kuwait and HE Mr. Khalid Sulaiman Al-Jarallah, Hon’ble Deputy Foreign Minister of Kuwait. The Minister discussed their bilateral relations and regional developments of mutual interest. The minister also reviewed all issues related to the Indian Community in Kuwait including issues pertaining to Indian Engineers, nurses and domestic workers. An agreement was made to further strengthen India-Kuwait relations in all areas including Human Resource, trade and investment, energy, Defense, security and culture. India is planning to host a high-profile member of Kuwait’s ruling family amid Pakistan’s efforts to internationalize the Kashmir issue.
