Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade in India

Mr. Peter Szijjarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary visited Mumbai on 14-15 January and met with Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, with whom he discussed the huge rise in Indian tourists visiting Hungary, Hungary as an attractive destination for shooting Bollywood films and the need for direct flights between Mumbai and Budapest. On 16th January, Mr. Szijjarto and Dr S. Jaishankar, held bilateral talks and they discussed air connectivity, cooperation in higher education, enhancing trade and investment apart from exchanging views on matters related to UN, EU and situation in West Asia. He also met Minister of MSME, Mr Nitin Gadkari and discussed strengthening cooperation in MSME sector. Mr. Szijjarto also met Mr Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Railways.
