On June 13, 2019, the meeting for the India-Italy Counter Terrorism Joint Working Group was held in Delhi. The meeting was co-chaired by Mahaveer Singhvi, Joint Secretary – Counter Terrorism, Government of India and Diego Brasioli, Principal Director for Security, Disarmament and non-Proliferation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy.
This is the second meeting of the Working Group as India and Italy have decided to work together to fight against radicalization, money laundering and the financing of terrorist groups.
