On April 8, 2022, Amit Bhandari, Senior Fellow, Energy, Investment and Connectivity, was a panelist at a seminar organised by India Exim Bank on their study titled India-Australia: Evolving Trade and Investment Paradigm. The discussion explored current issues and opportunities for India to further enhance economic engagements with Australia.
He spoke on the future of India-Australia trade, and elaborated on how India can identify new sources of energy supply and provide Australia with options to invest in these sources. He recommended that the two nations can solidify energy partnership by leveraging their positions in the market for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
