From 22-25 March, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will visit India to strengthen bilateral ties.
It will be his first visit to India as the German President. Apart from his engagements in Delhi, he will be visiting Varanasi and Chennai. The visit to Varanasi is likely to be focussed on India-Germany cooperation on cleaning the river Ganga.
During this visit, Steinmeier will be accompanied by a CEO delegation, Indologists delegation, and a media delegation.
