External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar visited Tunisia. During his visit, he held a bilateral meeting with the country’s foreign minister Sabri Bachtobji. They agreed to work closely in multilateral forums, especially the UN. They also focused on expanding bilateral economic cooperation and witnessed the signing of an agreement on ICT (Information and Communications Technology). He also called on President Kais Saied and met the Speaker of the Assembly of Representatives, Rached Ghannouchi with whom he discussed expanding exchanges between the Parliamentary institutions of both countries.
