Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi will visit India from December 21-24, 2018, to attend the first India-China High Level Mechanism on Cultural and People-to-People Exchanges agreed between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping in June 2018 on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit. He will co-chair the meeting along with Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
