On 26 November 2021, the Gateway House-FLAME Policy Lab is organising a webcast to present a database of China’s space technology ecosystem. The webcast will summarise and discuss the findings of the database, jointly researched by Prof. Roger Liu (FLAME University) and Dr. Chaitanya Giri (Gateway House). The database was prepared by FLAME University students – Rohit Deshpande, Kinneret Pezarkar, Mannat Dutt, and Kushal Shah – as part of their internship in the Gateway House-FLAME Policy Lab.
The panellists for the webcast are Srikanth Kondapalli, Professor, Centre for East Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University; Chandra Rekha, Former Research Fellow, Indian Council for World Affairs; Harini Madhusudan, Doctoral Scholar, School of Conflict and Security Studies, National Institute of Advanced Studies. The meeting will be moderated Chaitanya Giri, Fellow, Space & Ocean Studies Programme, Gateway House. Amit Bhandari, Fellow, Energy and Environment Studies Programme will provide the closing remarks.
