As part of an Indian think tank delegation to China, representatives from Gateway House and Observer Research Foundation visited the Songshan Lake National High Tech Industrial Development Zone at Dongguan (near Guangzhou) on 14 December, 2016.
During the visit, the delegation learned about the International Water Valley Project, a water management system within the larger zone and how it would further be expanded.
Gateway House members included Vice Admiral Anil Chopra, Distinguished Fellow, International Security and Maritime Studies, Zahra Latif, Head of Operations, Sifra Lentin, Adjunct Fellow, Bombay History Studies, Aditya Phatak, Senior Researcher, Purvaja Modak, Researcher, and Virpratap Vikram Singh, Website Content Manager.
