The VII BRICS Academic Forum was held in Moscow from 21-23 May, 2015. The theme of the forum was BRICS: Cooperation for Growth, Security and Prosperity.
The Forum included academic delegations-professors and researchers- from all five of the BRICS countries. Akshay Mathur, Head of Research, and Rajrishi Singhal, Senior Geoeconomics Fellow, were part of the Indian delegation.
Akshay was a speaker at the break out session ‘Reform of the International Financial System and Future of the BRICS-born Institutions’.
Rajrishi was a speaker at the break out session ‘Culture, Science and Education as Driver for Enhanced Cooperation Within BRICS; Intercivilizational Exchanges and Dialogue, Knowledge and Sharing etc.’
The VII BRICS Summit will be held from 8-9 July in Ulfa, Russia.
