Book discussion : “Tatya Tope’s Operation Red Lotus”

Book discussion : “Tatya Tope’s Operation Red Lotus”

Parag Tope is the author of a stunning new book, “Tatya Tope’s Operation Red Lotus” which is a retelling of an account of the 1857 Mutiny from the eyes of the Indians who rebelled. Most notably, the rebellion was led by Tatya Tope – and Parag is his descendant.

As India grows more confident, we will hear and read more about our own history – through our own eyes and from our own, long-hidden, accounts. Operation Red Lotus is one such fascinating and authentic account of our history of struggle for freedom from the British Raj. Parag unravelled the mystery of the Red Lotus and the Chappati and their significance in the 1857 Anglo-Indian War.
