The 21st ASEAN-India Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM) was held from 11 to 12 April at New Delhi. The Meeting was co-chaired by Vijay Thakur Singh, SOM Leader and Secretary (East), Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India and Busaya Mathelin, Senior Officials’ Meeting Leader and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Thailand. The SOM discussed ways and means to further deepen cooperation on financial matters as well as overall strengthening of the ASEAN Secretariat. The SOM Leaders also exchanged views on regional and international issues and agreed to deepen Maritime Cooperation.
