With Iran and P5+1, namely five permanent UNSC members – China, France, Russia, the UK and the US – plus Germany, striking a deal on Tehran’s nuclear programme in Lausanne on April 2, it seems that the long dispute between the West Asian country and the western world on the use of nuclear technology may get resolved. However, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and World Nuclear Association (WNA) have different views altogether.
