WTO Standoff: India Stands Firm

The Modi government is talking tough at the WTO. India is opposing the international agreement on easing trade regulations, stating that the effort to promote global trade should be linked to food security. The U.S. and EU, amongst others, have expectedly criticized India’s stance. In a special foreign policy segment, in association with Gateway House, Bloomberg TV India discusses if India should bow down to pressure and ratify the agreement.
