Projects worth $29 bn to take front seat at India-LAC summit

Multi-sector project proposals worth $29 billion will be up for consideration when Latin American leaders visit New Delhi next month. Top leaders such as Panama president Ricardo Martinelli and Jorge Glas Espinel, vice president of Ecuador, have confirmed their participation in the fifth edition of the India-LAC summit being organised by the MEA, ministry of commerce and the CII. They will be accompanied by a team of high-level delegates.

The Latin American delegates will include key government representatives, leading public and private enterprises, representatives of major banking and financial institutions from Mexico, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Panama, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Jamaica and Nicaragua.
