Gateway House recently conducted a brainstorming session on “sub-regional perspective on India-Pakistan cooperation prospects and challenges with reference to Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Punjab”. In this video Rajiv Kumar, Senior Fellow, Centre for Policy Research, looks at the India-Pakistan relationship and examines how there can be more cooperation between states along the Indo-Pak border, how India needs to recognise the importance of its role in the subcontinent, the importance of cultural diplomacy and the role think tanks can play to being the two nations together.

Rajiv Kumar, is Senior Fellow, Center for Policy Research, in New Delhi. He was formerly Secretary General of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). He has a D.Phil. in Economics from Oxford University and a Ph.D from Lucknow University.
