Aparajita Gangopadhyay
Lecturer at the Centre for Latin American Studies, Goa University

Aparajita Gangopadhyay has done her M.A. and M.Phil. in the fields of International Studies and Latin American Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Ms. Gangopadhyay has written a monograph called the Debt-Equity Swap Programme in Argentina, Brazil and Chile in addition to publishing several articles on Latin America. She was awarded the second prize by the Embassy of Argentina in an Essay Competition in 1994 and placed second in the Essay Competition organized by the Candido Mendes University, Brazil and the Publishers and Book Sellers Guild, Kolkata, India. She is presently working on her doctoral thesis entitled From Confrontation to Cooperation: Argentina-Brazil Relations since the 1970s.
