The Aga Khan's visit to India

From 20 February to 2 March,  Shah Karim Al Hussaini, the Aga Khan, on the invitation of vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, will be visiting India to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of his Imamat.

On 21 February,  he will hold talks with Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On the same day, he will also be present at the inauguration of the Sunder Nursery park, which is a part of the Nizamuddin Urban Renewal Initiative.

On 22 February, he will be meeting President Ram Nath Kovind and leave for his 4 day Gujarat visit.

From 26-27, The Aga Khan will be in Hyderabad after which he will visit Mumbai from 28 February to March 2. During his visit to Mumbai, he will meet with Maharashtra’s Governor, C. Vidyasagar Rao and Chief Minister, Devendra Phadnavis.

The Aga Khan is the founder and chairman of the Aga Khan Development Network and is the 49th hereditary Imam (Spiritual Leader) of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims.
