National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval is visiting Beijing for a meeting with the NSA’s from the BRICS countries. This may help to ease tensions between India and China over Doklam. The meeting is hosted by the National Security Advisor of China and State Counsellor Yang Jiechi.
This is part of the series of meetings of officials from BRICS countries- Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa- ahead of this year’s summit in Xiamen city in September.
