On 12 September, Gateway House hosted Dr. Radwan Masmoudi, President of the Center of the Study of Islam & Democracy (CSID) from Tunisia along with with his wife. He, along with Manjeet Kripalani, Executive Director, and Sifra Lentin, Adjunct Fellow, Mumbai History Studies, Gateway House, discussed topics such as the modernisation of Islamic thought, Tunisia’s attempt and struggle with establishing a democratic system of governance, the state of the Tunisian economy, the rebuilding of the country post the Arab Awakening, etc.
